An Enhanced Call Verification cell phone number is the second verification call used before dispatching the police on a burglar alarm.

Police departments across the country are continually being dispatched for false burglar alarms. These false alarms waste valuable police time and cost both taxpayers and businesses unnecessary money.

At Midstate, we have the answer.

Enhanced Call Verification (ECV):

• developed by the Security Industry Alarm Coalition.
• dramatically reduces false alarm dispatches.
• requires the alarm company to call a second phone number for verification before dispatching the police to a burglar alarm.

At Midstate, we pride ourselves on remaining on top of current standards.

To assist the police department, and to keep costs down for our clients, Midstate is requesting a secondary phone number, preferably a cell phone, for all clients with burglar alarms. As a result, effective January 1, 2011, Midstate Security will be making this our policy for all our customers.
