Midstate Security Expands Employee Base
Wyoming, MI July 19, 2017:
The economy is a good thing for many Michigan businesses and that is a good thing for Midstate Security Company. Businesses are looking to protect their assets and that is driving a need for new employees at the company. Recently Midstate Security has added three new positions to the company’s payroll and is in the process of adding six additional staff members to their 24/7 Monitoring Center.
“Midstate works throughout the state as well as regionally and we are very excited about continuing the growth we’ve had over the last ten years. These recent additions are positioning us for the future and we have had some great talent join our company,” said Dave Nemmers, President.
Dan Barbrick, Controller
Bringing 25 years in senior finance experience, Barbrick is uniquely qualified in filling the new Controller role at Midstate Security. His positions in construction, IT and distribution will be the foundation for evaluating new as well as existing operations. “Midstate is on a growth trajectory and I am pleased to be able to bring my experience to a company with such strong values and forward thinking that is located right in my back yard,” said Barbrick.
Barbrick, who married his high school sweetheart, never has a dull moment with six children ranging from 7 to 21, with his oldest at Hillsdale College. He earned his accounting degree from Grand Valley University and an MBA in Finance from Western Michigan University.
Ryan Bostic, Solutions Account Manager
Ryan Bostic brings 10 years of sales and management experience with industrial, office and technology companies. He will be focused on new customer development with a focus on the company’s new bundled service offerings.
“I came to Midstate Security because I believed in the vision and I wanted to work for a company that has a bright and stable future ” stated Bostic.
He has been recognized for Top Salesperson of the Midwest multiple times as well as new product rollouts for Fortune 500 companies. Bostic is a Western Michigan University graduate and resides in Grand Rapids with his wife, two children and a third one on the way.
Chris Pieri, Director of Business Development
Midstate Security is excited to announce Chris Pieri has joined the company in a newly created position to lead the development of new business lines. His 30 years of diverse experience in telecommunications and technology Fortune 100 organizations, along with several successful startups will benefit Midstate as it positions itself for the next 10 years of growth.
“I’m thrilled to join this team that I’ve provided solutions to in the past and excited about the positive momentum building in the security integration industry. On top of that they have a great culture.,” says Pieri.
He received his business degree from Aquinas College and an MBA from Grand Valley University. Pieri resides in Caledonia with his wife and two children who attend Hope College.
